Terms & Conditions

By registering for Run for Ram 2026, the participant agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions laid down by the event organisers.

1. Change of Event Category

Change of race category is permitted only on or before 10th February 2026. Requests must be sent to the official event email ID.

To change category, participants are required to:

  • Cancel the existing registration (₹200 will be deducted as processing charges)
  • Register again under the new category

No category change requests will be accepted after 5th January 2026.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Once a registration is confirmed, no refund requests will be entertained under any circumstances.

If an application is rejected for any reason, the registration fee will be refunded on or before 10th February 2026, after deduction of ₹200 as processing charges.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Non-participation
  • Failure to collect the race bib
  • Disqualification or inability to run due to illness, weather, or any other reason
  • Any refund-related discrepancy must be reported before 15th January 2026. Requests after this date will not be considered.

3. Race Rules & Results

  • Overall winners (42 KM / 21 KM / 10 KM) will be determined based on official finish time (Gun Time).
  • Age category winners (where applicable) will be determined based on Net Time.
  • The 3 KM Family & Fun Run is a non-competitive category unless specified otherwise.
  • Early or late starts beyond permitted time limits will lead to disqualification from prize consideration.
  • Running a category different from the one mentioned on the bib will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish).
  • Results announced on race day are provisional and subject to verification.

4. Elite International Category Prize Eligibility

  • The Elite International category is open to both Indian and international runners unless stated otherwise by the organizers.
  • If an Indian runner secures a position in the overall Top 2 finishers of the race, he or she will be eligible to receive the Elite International prize money.
  • Overall positions will be determined based on official gun time as recorded by the timing system approved by the organizers.
  • Only runners who have completed the full course within the official cut off time will be considered for prize money.
  • All prize winners must comply with race rules, age verification requirements, and any anti doping regulations applicable to the event.
  • The decision of the Race Director and Organizing Committee will be final and binding in all matters related to results and prize distribution.
  • The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms if required due to regulatory, legal, or event related circumstances.

5. Bib Usage & Conduct

  • Race bibs are non-transferable and must be worn visibly on the front of the T-shirt.
  • Bibs must not be folded, altered, tampered with, or removed during the race.
  • Lost or damaged bibs will not be replaced.
  • Improper bib usage may result in disqualification.

6. Medical Fitness & Responsibility

  • Participation is at the sole risk and responsibility of the participant.
  • Participants must ensure they are medically fit and adequately trained.
  • Those with existing medical conditions are strongly advised to seek medical clearance before race day.
  • The organisers, sponsors, and associated entities shall not be held liable for any illness, injury, or fatality arising before, during, or after the event.

7. Waiver & Consent

By registering, participants confirm that:

  • All information provided is true and accurate
  • They understand the physical demands and risks involved
  • They consent to the use of their photographs and videos for event promotion
  • Event updates may be shared via email, SMS, or WhatsApp

8. Safety & Discipline

  • Participants must follow the official race route and instructions from volunteers and officials.
  • Unsportsmanlike behaviour, obstruction, littering, or misconduct may lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Participants are encouraged to assist fellow runners in distress and report emergencies promptly.

9. Event Modifications

The organisers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, route, categories, or any aspect of the event due to safety, weather, administrative, or force majeure reasons.

10. Anti-Doping Policy

  • Run for Ram follows strict anti-doping guidelines aligned with international standards.
  • Random testing may be conducted.
  • Refusal or violation will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes and may affect future participation.

11. Acceptance of Terms

Registration for Run for Ram 2026 implies full acceptance of all rules, guidelines, and decisions taken by the organisers, which shall be final and binding.

Minimum number of runners in the International runner category should be 10 for eligibility of full prize money.
