Participant Booklet

1. Bib Collection – Expo

  • All participants must collect their race bib and kit from the designated Bib Expo venue.
    Bib collection on race day will not be permitted under any circumstances.
  • Documents Required
  • Registration confirmation email / SMS (Bib details will be shared closer to the event)
  • Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / Voter ID)
  • Lost or misplaced bibs will not be replaced, and participation without a bib will not be allowed.

2. Race Route Overview

  • 42 KM Marathon: Single loop
  • 21 KM Half Marathon: Single loop
  • 10 KM Run: Single loop
  • 3 KM Family & Fun Run: Single loop

Detailed route maps and elevation profiles will be shared in the Participant Guide before race day.

3. Bib Usage & Guidelines

  • Bibs are personal and non-transferable
  • Wear the bib clearly visible on the front of your T-shirt
  • Do not fold, cut, alter, or tamper with the bib or timing chip
  • Bib must be secured using all safety pins provided
  • Important Precautions:
      • Do not pierce the timing chip
      • Do not remove the timing tag
      • Avoid contact with strong magnetic devices
      • Improper bib usage may lead to disqualification.

4. Medical Advisory

Running long distances requires preparation and awareness. Participants are advised not to run if feeling unwell (fever, chest pain, vomiting, dizziness, recent illness).

If you answer YES to any of the following, please seek medical clearance:

  • Heart or blood pressure condition
  • Chest pain or breathing difficulty
  • Dizziness or loss of consciousness
  • Bone, joint, or muscle issues
  • Recent viral illness or fever
  • Pregnancy or diabetes
  • Participation is at your own risk, and medical fitness is the responsibility of the participant.

5. What to Carry on Race Day

Mandatory

  • Race bib
  • Fully enclosed running shoes

Recommended

  • Comfortable running attire
  • Extra clothing post-run
  • Small bag for change of clothes (baggage counter available)

6. Disqualification & DNF Conditions

Participants may be disqualified for:

  • Running without medical fitness
  • Carrying or holding the bib instead of wearing it
  • Using loud speakers or causing obstruction
  • Dangerous overtaking or physical misconduct
  • Deviating from the official route
  • Littering on the course
  • Unsportsmanlike or abusive behaviour
  • Respect fellow runners, volunteers, and the race environment.

7. Venue, Parking & Access

Event Venue:
Lata Mangeshkar Chowk

Clear signage will guide participants to the venue

Ample parking will be available for cars and buses

8. Accommodation & Stay

  • Participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation.
  • Hotel and stay information will be shared on the official website.

9. Local Transport

Participants may use taxis, auto-rickshaws, or app-based services for local movement.

10. Facilities at Venue

  • Baggage storage
  • Warm-up area
  • Toilets (venue & select route points)
  • Hydration points every few kilometres
  • Nutrition support at finish line
  • Recovery zone for stretching & cooldown
  • Medical assistance & ambulances
  • Finisher medal collection point

11. Refreshments

All participants will receive post-run refreshments after completing their race.

Participants arriving more than 10 minutes after flag-off will not be allowed to start.

13. Prize Money

  • Winners are decided based on official timing system results
  • Only Open Category winners will be announced on race day
  • Age category results will be published online
  • Prize money will be transferred to winners’ bank accounts after verification

14. Finisher Medals

  • All participants who complete the race within the cut-off time will receive a Finisher Medal.
  • Participants marked as DNF (Did Not Finish) will not be eligible.

15. Race Day Emergencies

Medical teams and ambulances will be stationed on-route and at the venue.

16. Anti-Doping Policy

  • Run for Ram follows strict anti-doping guidelines.
  • Random testing may be conducted.
  • Refusal or violation will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prizes.
